The position entails provision of a broad range of corporate legal services, with the primary focus on general, civil and business litigation and labor and employment cases, investigations. Employee will also be expected to advise and counsel on business and legal matter, as well as coordinate and manage all stages of electronic discovery projects from the initial document request to the final production of documents in the course of internal and external investigations, document subpoenas, and requests for production during in litigation cases.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with litigation management - Substantial experience in handling a broad range of litigation cases, as well as labor and employment cases - Ability and versatility to handle other assignments, cases and matters within the litigation and labor & employment group - Experience in successfully handling arbitrations and mediations - Demonstrated experience in handling all stages of large volume electronic discovery projects - Proven experience with using electronic discovery software for gathering, indexing, and reviewing electronic documents - Ability to lead and manage outside counsel, vendors and others associated with electronic discovery projects - Possess a thorough understanding of federal rules of civil procedure, discovery and records retention rules - Proven experience in handling timely responses to document subpoenas and discovery requests - Proven ability to independently handle and manage a caseload - Substantial experience in conducting internal investigations - Substantial experience working with rules of evidence and other regulations and standards related to electronic discovery - Ability to provide technical and legal advice to legal, IT, operations and HR managers - Forensic IT experience - A commitment to excellence and quality of work - Clear communication skills - Proven leadership skills and ability as a decision-maker - Excellent writing and communication skills - Ability to manage legal budgets and outside counsel legal fees - Ability to travel on occasion as needed
