We are seeking a driven Tax Attorney to join our growing organization. This key individual will be responsible for: - Providing counsel in tax research and planning through detailed analysis of tax laws, regulations and court decisions and determining impact on the Company - Representing the Companys positions on tax matters before government agencies - Responding to data requests and preparing tax protests as applicable - Developing, reviewing, and revising tax policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state tax laws and gathering, analyzing and documenting business operations and financial information to support required tax adjustments and tax planning activities. Requirements: - 3-5 years of federal tax experience in a law firm, CPA firm, or major corporate tax department with eagerness to learn state tax matters. - The ability to handle multiple major and complex tax projects/assignments with minimal supervision - The ability to clearly communicate complex tax concepts both verbally and in writing
